1. Who are you?

Martel Trevor, humble servant of Jesus Christ, child of the Most High God, FLAWED human saved by grace and called DIRECTLY BY HIM to minister His Word of Prophecy, author of the book Seed of Satan.

2. Why isn't your name mentioned prominently on the website?

This website is not about promoting or glorifying me. It's about promoting and glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. I can't save anyone: He, on the other hand, CAN AND DOES.

3. Don't you think it's important to tell others more about yourself?

No. I think it's important to tell others about Jesus, and what He did.

What's important is WHO JESUS IS, not who I am.

You wouldn't be interested, anyway. I live a VERY BORING life, by world standards.

4. Why do you sound so angry?

So called "prophecy experts", have SOLD us, LITERALLY, a pack of lies, which are NOT EVEN FOUND in God's Holy Word. My anger and displeasure is directed AT THEM, NOT AT YOU.

5. Are you angry all the time?

Nah, I'm a nice person, have a great sense of humor, and am happy most of the time. I only get pissed when I think of their GREED and DISHONESTY.

6. But love is the fruit of the Spirit. Aren't you setting a bad example by admitting that you sometimes get angry?

No. Unlike you, I'm being HONEST.

EVERYONE gets angry at one point or another.

You also assume, ERRONEOUSLY, that love and anger are mutually exclusive. They are NOT.

Jesus is the Personification of Divine Love. NO ONE has ever loved like Him (John 15:13) and He got angry at the religious hypocrites and TRAFFICKERS of His day (Matthew 21:21; 23:14-33).

At one point, He got SO ANGRY that He made a whip out of cords, overthrew their tables, and THREW OUT THE MONEY CHANGERS OF HIS DAY from HIS TEMPLE (John 2:15; Matthew 21:12; Mark 11:15).

Of course, I know you're MORE RIGHTEOUS THAN Jesus.

Apparently, neither Jesus nor I can live up to your standards.

7. Why aren't you more subdued in your teaching?

Because satan ISN'T AT ALL "subdued" in promoting his agenda.

8. Why do you regard those who ask you to tone it down as hypocrites?

BEFORE they ask me to "tone it down", they should write AT LEAST 50 other websites who BOLDLY AND OVERTLY promote porn, immorality and satanism, and ask them to tone it down or ALTOGETHER STOP. Otherwise they're guilty of a double-standard. That MAKES THEM hypocrites.

9. What's your biggest pet peeve?

Holier-than-thou religious hypocrites.

10. What's the BIGGEST mistake your correspondents make?

Mistaking niceness and politeness for WEAKNESS; I'm a nice person most of the time, who likes to help others, and am called to SERVE. On the other hand, there's NOTHING "weak" about me or this ministry. If you think because you wrote a couple of "nice" emails and I answered in kind, that entitles you to IMPOSE your religious agenda or bias on me, you're in for a SUPER RUDE AWAKENING. 

When someone moronically adopts the attitude that we either agree with them and change our teaching accordingly or we are "compromising the Word of God", yet OFFERS NO BIBLICAL PROOF, only their fallible and biased opinion, that's religious bullying and will NOT be tolerated.

You'd think they'd know better from reading the website and the daily message.

The second biggest mistake is confusing our invitation to write in with LEGITIMATE questions or comments as LICENSE to go over everything we say with a fine toothcomb, nitpick it to death, then write 10 impertinent emails saying "shouldn't that read verse 7 instead of verse 8" (I guess they never heard of a typo), or thinking they can play "gotcha".

A) I know my Bible, and you're NOT going to "get me", and
B) I'm just not going to put up with that kind of garbage.
We minister to real people, with real needs, in real time. I'm simply not interested in that kind of stupidity, nor will I waste my valuable time on such worthless pursuits.

11. How can you be so absolutely convinced that everything posted on your site is true?

Because I'm connected to the Holy Spirit, and have taken the time to painstakingly study God's Word, RESEARCH, check and re-check EVERYTHING POSTED, and spent many, many hours meditating such things in the Spirit.

Because I didn't arrive at these conclusions from a biased, preconceived, denominational agenda: I was willing to accept WHATEVER the Truth might be, EVEN IF I didn't like it.

I've also played "devil's advocate" and ATTACKED these teachings, from every conceivable angle, to see if they REALLY stand up to biblical scrutiny.

12. Are you open to correction?

Absolutely. Finding error in these teachings, though highly improbable, is not impossible. I'm human like everyone else. If ANYONE can demonstrate, from the Bible, that these teachings are incorrect, NOT ONLY WILL I ISSUE AN IMMEDIATE PUBLIC CORRECTION, I WILL PUBLICALLY CREDIT AND THANK THE PERSON[S] DOING THE "CORRECTING".

13. Do you personally write "Word 4 Today"?

Yes. Unless otherwise noted. Occasionally, we post something offered by one of our readers. When that happens, we always give credit to whom credit is due.

14. I've read some of the teachings on your website elsewhere, how come?

We often get requests from other ministries or individuals to post some of this material on another website or forum. Such requests are usually granted. All we ask is they state where they got the information and provide a link to our website.

On the other hand, there are also some liars who plagiarize this material and try to pass it off as "their own", usually in one or more of the Rapture forums. They're pathetic losers who KNOW NOTHING, only seek self-aggrandizement, and their own glory.

You'd think at the very least they'd give Jesus the glory.

They may fool some silly Christians, but they're NOT fooling God, they're not fooling me, and they will answer for their LIES and dishonesty.

All teachings on this website originated with me, Martel Trevor, based on the Word of God and the illumination of His Holy Spirit. We seldom post anything from ANYONE ELSE. 15. Your work is scholarly, why don't you mention your academic credentials?

When you tell me what worldly credentials Peter, John or James possessed... or, for that matter, Jesus Himself possessed, I'll be glad to discuss them.

Those men CHANGED THE WORLD. Today we have a bunch of overeducated gutless religious wimps, who are content to preach to the choir, and let the world go to hell.

God's NOT impressed with worldly credentials and neither am I.

I'd much rather "impress" you with what I got from the Holy Spirit and God's Holy Word, than what I got from mortal man.

17. But don't scholarly credentials lend more credibility to your work?

No. I've known people with 7 PhD's who don't know more about Salvation or Bible prophecy than the Ayatollah.

Either these teachings stand up to biblical scrutiny, or they don't. If they don't, prove it to me with the Bible, and I'll change them. If they do, HEED THEM.

20. What are your personal beliefs with regards to Jesus Christ and Salvation?

There's NO SALVATION apart from Jesus Christ [Acts 4:12].

Every human being MUST be born again of the Spirit [John 3:3-7].

That New Birth takes place when we, in earnest, INVITE Jesus Christ into our hearts and RECEIVE HIM as our PERSONAL Lord, Savior and God [John 1:12].

All who do are saved. All who don't are lost.

21. Have you written anything?

Yes. I wrote Seed of Satan, where the TRUE identity of the Antichrist is revealed, for the first time.

22. How can I buy the book?

You can't. We don't SELL anything.

23. How come it's not for sale?

Apparently, they'd rather speculate, and plagiarize C.I. Scofield, not to mention one another.

25. Are you anti-Scofield?

No. I'm anti-satan.

He made some significant contributions, especially as it pertains to salvation by grace, and biblical prophecy. I have sincere appreciation for those. Does that mean that revelation about Bible prophecy ceased A CENTURY AGO and that EVERYTHING Scofield taught or wrote is biblical? Absolutely not!

27. Even though you prove the pre-trib Rapture, you disagree with dispensationalists on nearly everything, how come?

I'm not, strictly speaking, dispensationalist.

But I do agree with them on the Rapture being PRE-TRIB. We share little else, besides that.

28. Is there any well-known contemporary prophecy teacher that you agree with?

I'm sorry to say I haven't found one yet. Lord knows, I've looked, and read, and listened.

29. Were you mentored by John Walvoord?

No.

30. Were you mentored by anyone?

Yes, the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the prophets Daniel and John, in that order.

31. How did you gain such knowledge and insights?

From the Word of God, His Holy Spirit, and His Holy prophets.

32. What advice would give anyone who wants to gain significant revelations and greater insight from the Bible?

Approach the Word of God without ANY agenda, denominational bias, or preconceived notions.

Don't study it only from your natural mind, but from the spirit inside your stomach.

Ask the Holy Spirit to open and reveal the Word He inspired. Rely ON HIM for wisdom and revelation.

BE OPEN, and READY TO ACCEPT, WHATEVER God reveals thru His Spirit and His Word, whether it's popular or not, whether you like it or not, whether anyone else agrees with it, or not.

And DON'T JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS. Don't just take ONE verse of Scripture to formulate doctrine, but take into account EVERYTHING that the Scriptures teach on that subject. Make sure it ALL fits together. God CANNOT and DOES NOT contradict Himself... EVER.

33. Why do you always attack religion?

Because ALL RELIGION, even the "Christian" religion, IS FEAR BASED. God is LOVE. IN HIM IS NO FEAR AT ALL, BECAUSE PERFECT LOVE [GOD] CASTS OUT FEAR (1 John 4:18).

Religion doesn't bring us closer to God, it alienates us from Him. I'm totally ANTI-religion.

34. But isn't your website religious?

NO. This is a BIBLICAL website. And there's A WORLD of difference. We don't promote religion, nor endorse ANY denomination.

35. If you don't make any money from the website, don't receive donations, and don't sell anything, what's in it for you?

The satisfaction of serving My Lord, to Whom be all Praise and Glory forever and ever.

36. Why do you do this?

1. How can I BE SURE I'm saved?

If you have EARNESTLY invited and received Jesus into your heart, and have His Holy Spirit LIVING IN you [when you have Him, you KNOW IT], you can be 100% sure you're saved [John 1:12; Romans 8:9].

2. Are all Christians saved?

ALL REAL Christians are saved.  However, not everyone that calls himself or herself "Christian" is saved.

3. What is the Bible definition of a REAL Christian?

Someone who has received Jesus into his/her heart as Lord, has been born-again of God's Spirit, hence has God's Spirit LIVING IN THEM [Romans 8:9; Galatians 3:2].

4. Can the Ten Commandments, the law, or observance of the WEEKLY Sabbath save anyone?

NO WAY! No amount of law-keeping, Ten Commandment keeping, or weekly Sabbath keeping can make ANYONE born again.

No amount of "keeping" any of these can put God's Holy Spirit IN you.

Since man's primary problem is that his spirit became detached from God's Spirit because of sin [Genesis 3:7-10; 2 Corinthians 5:19], the only One who saves us is He who can put His own Spirit BACK INSIDE OF US. Praise His Marvelous Grace!

5. Do I need to keep the 10 commandments AFTER I'm saved?

NO.

6. Do I need to keep the WEEKLY Sabbath?

NO.

7. Must I attend church services in order to be saved?

NO.

8. Should Christians tithe?

Absolutely NOT!

9. Is salvation by grace alone, or do we need works?

GRACE ALONE. NOT by works lest anyone should boast [Ephesians 2:8].

10. Can a Christian lose his/her salvation?

NO.

11. Can a Christian fall from grace?

Hypothetically speaking, ONLY if that Christian, after being justified by GRACE ALONE, insists on still living under the law, or the Ten Commandments, and TRUSTS them, INSTEAD OF JESUS ALONE and WHAT HE DID, for justification [Galatians 5:4].  That individual would be alienating himself/herself from Christ, REJECTING Grace, hence would have FALLEN FROM Grace.

No. In the New Testament "the commandments" are the LOVE commandments: to love God with all our hearts, and our neighbor as ourselves.

However, we STRONGLY recommend that you attend either Evangelical, interdenominational, or Messianic congregations, and that you MAKE SURE the Pastor, Rabbi, and leadership adhere to, teach and comply with the following BASIC Christian beliefs [DON'T BE SHY about asking if they do. If you're considering joining them, you have EVERY RIGHT to know]:

1. The Bible is THE infallible, inerrant Word of God and is THE final authority on everything.

2. There's One Almighty, eternal God, who manifests Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. Jesus Christ is God incarnate [God manifested in human form].

4. Jesus was born of a virgin.

5. Jesus lived, died, was buried, and physically rose from the dead.

6. Jesus in your heart = salvation. There's no salvation in any other person, or by any other means. Salvation is faith in Jesus alone, not faith in Jesus "PLUS" something else.

7. Jesus will, someday, return to earth to set up His everlasting Kingdom.

1. Why do you use red, white and blue on your website?

Why not? They're the colors of the American flag.

2. Why don't you use more subdued colors?

Those who seek Truth, could care less what color it comes in. I could care less if Truth is conveyed to me in magenta, canary yellow and Kelly green.

If you care more about the "look" of the website, than the CONTENT, you're in the wrong place. Feel free to move on to some dull, insipid, stagnant and BEIGE RELIGIOUS site.

3. How come I don't see a donations link on your site?

We NEVER solicit, or receive donations.

4. What if I want to send a donation, anyway?

While I'm touched by your generosity, and deeply appreciate the gesture, we don't RECEIVE donations... from anyone. Thank you.

5. Do you believe it's wrong for a ministry to receive donations?

No. I don't believe it's wrong for a LEGITIMATE MINISTRY [to "minister" means to SERVE], whose emphasis TRULY IS winning the lost to Christ, and spreading the TRUE MESSAGE OF THE BIBLE, to receive VOLUNTARY donations.

I do believe that it's wrong for ANY so-called "ministry" to manipulate people into giving, to threaten people that their prayers won't be answered, that they won't prosper, or won't be otherwise blessed, unless they DONATE. That is A DAMNABLE UNSCRIPTURAL LIE.

I also believe 90% of today's so-called "ministers" have reduced the Gospel to measly dollars and, LIKE JUDAS, have sold out their Master for the love of money.

Jesus said you CANNOT serve TWO MASTERS.

6. If you don't think it's wrong to receive donations, then why don't you?

Unfortunately, today's so-called "Christian leaders" have conditioned people to expect incessant pleas for money. They've turned Christianity into A BUSINESS, and the true Gospel into a joke. That's why the world, which we're supposed to reach for Christ, is so turned off by their message.

I can proudly say that I'VE NEVER SOLICITED OR TAKEN A DIME FROM ANYONE.

That fact alone, gives this ministry TONS of CREDIBILITY.

To my knowledge, it also sets us apart FROM ANY OTHER MINISTRY.

It happens to be the way I've chosen to serve my Lord. He didn't charge me anything for His Word, His blessings, His revelations, or EVEN FOR HIS SALVATION. Praise Him forevermore!

Besides, NOWHERE in the New Testament do I find Jesus or the apostles begging for money.

I've received from Him freely, I CHOOSE to give freely.

7. But couldn't you reach even more people if you received donations?

Perhaps. But I don't limit God. God's not limited by money. He can do anything He wants, since He is LORD OF ALL.

He can do with this ministry whatever He wants. He can also take it as far as He wants.

8. What makes this ministry DIFFERENT from others?

If you're new to this ministry, check it out. The teachings speak for themselves.

If you've followed this ministry for any length of time, and don't know the answer... you're (how can I put this in religiously correct terms?) "intellectually challenged".

No. You've seen pictures of a small group of priests at the Vatican, or some local church or Cathedral HONORING the memory of some Catholic saint on that saint's Feast (day of remembrance) in the Catholic calendar.

They DO NOT worship the bone(s), skeleton, finger, tongue or whatever. It is simply a RELIGIOUS RELIC.

It's supposed to be the remains of the saint they are honoring on that particular day. Whether it really is or not, who knows?

The worship and prayers, however, are directed to God.

This is done ONLY locally, ONCE a year, on the day that particular saint is honored, and is not practiced either in Catholic churches at large, or in Catholic homes.

This practice, while medieval and bizarre, does not send anyone to hell.
